"Steam Engine 519" is a gallery wrapped, acrylic painting measuring 45 3/4 inches x 34 1/2 inches.

I have been intrigued by the idea of painting a train and settled on a steam engine. I wanted to create a mood of the engine chugging along at night covered partially covered in steam. I enjoyed developing the various textures including smoke and metal.
